Interior Light Problem

Hi All. I am having an issue with my interior lights. After changing a blown bulb it lit up double it's brightness and blew again. I again replaced the bulb to find the interior lights will now not go out. I have checked all the door switches which seem to work ok as the "doors open" warning light on the dash goes out. After investigating I have been told there is an timer relay for the lights (which I may have damaged), but for the life of me I cannot find it!!! Any ideas??? :nenau

I have this manual but unfortunately electrically it goes towards the newer models (mk2) rather then early models where the interior lights go to a cental timer control unit (also controlling other things) rather then a little relay.
