Hello guys,

I was looking for a car video recorder for some time, but none of items on the market had functions I wanted, until I found THIS beauty: Anytek GD001
Price is around £130, full of functions:

5 inch GPS satnav
Full HD Front video recorder
Rear view camera
WI-FI
Bluetooth
Interior camera
PIP function
G-sensor
And… Android OS! I.e. you can insert OBD2 dongle into car port and have all reading on the same screen. Plus usual Android apps, of course.

Have you heard about this? What do you think?

Looks the mutts and at £40 cheaper, well, that's just a bargain :thumb2

Customs duty may jack the price up a bit happenend here recently someone bought two DVR's I mentioned got stung.
There is a mention of customs on the link

Yes, customs is on top...
There is a good website - GeekBuying - they do very fast delivery and put parcel value below £20 - saves you paying customs duty. I bought IPTV box and few remotes from them, very good service.

I bought a camera from HK via eBay a few years ago and got royally dry bummed by the post office for customs, VAT and then a further £8 post office charge for collecting the money. Worked out nearly as much as buying in the UK in the end.

Also got bummed for some vintage Stahley razors I bought from the USA which was very annoying as they were not new ( about 80 yrs old) and quite battered for restoring. Pretty much given up buying non UK stuff now mail order due to the GPO. I'll pay customs but I object to the GPO fees too.
