looks like it could be leaking, to properly test it fill it with paraffin or petrol and if it is leaking you will see exactly where, mark it and solder it up, Rick

Fill it with petrol, would cost about £5 in fuel ffs :D

I see what you're saying though, fuel would leak and be obvious on those oil marks

i have been through this and the offer of a chat still stands :)

I know mate lol, in bed now, how does pics look ?

i have a crap internet connection an can't see them very well, call me tomorrow and I will tell you what know.

Right. I filled it the petrol, nothing.

took it down garage and pressure washed it, if i sealed the end up and blew through it, it was absolutely solid, no leaks, not sure how much psi i was generating lol, but no leak

replaced all spring clips on boost pipes with jubilee clips

STILL BLUE SMOKE ON BOOST :/

OK so you filled it with petrol and you blew through it and no leaks, well if you can blow at 20 odd psi you will win a prize, but at the end of the day your matrix is not leaking, it might have a pin hole which will account for the oil but will make no difference at all to the performance of the exchanger, Rick

i think the intercooler issue is worth taking seriously, a decent test and if needed a decent solution. but the choice is ultimately yours !
