Is there a grill available for the bonnet air intake on the Terrano ll? I want to stop numpties posting pizza into my engine bay! Can't find anything on the net.
Cheers.

Halfords sell a grill, cut to size...

Or get some 1/4" x 1/4" mesh as used in bird feeders, or roll up some chicken wire and ram it in. Much cheaper, or the aluminium reinforcement mesh as used for body repairs.

Oh..
What type of Pizza, cheese and tomato?
Thin or thick base ?

The problem with 1/4" x 1/4" mesh is that they will then be able to post french fries...:lol:lol

Why not put a small micro switch or sensor in the opening that links straight to the horn or alarm.... or sprays out dirty water... you must be taking the Pi**:lol

Some Mavericks came with a steel bar that went across the opening of the bonnet vent but not sure if it would stop pizza being posted. I'm thinkin of meshing up the bonnet vent on mine as my last T2 had quite a few damaged fins on the intercooler after a car kicked up a stone & it flew straight into the bonnet vent:eek: got loads of alloy grill mesh

Litter Sign needed

If you put a small sign on the intake saying "LITTER" that should stop the problem !

Unfortunately' so true.

I work for a college where the environment officer has just spent around 30K on new recycling/general waste bins, and a lot of the students drop their litter on the floor within a few feet of a bin... :banghead::mad:
