well, dad and i have been searching hi and low for insurance for my Terrano and no one is interested at insuring a new driver on a terrao:rolleyes:, even though dads worked in insurance for more then 10 years, he cant find anyone willing, so think i might have to sell my Terrano and get another vehicle:(

Our friends lad is 17 and he has got insurance on a LR Defender, I will try and find out who he's with :)

Cheers. Yeah, I dont want to get rid of my terrano, but I might have to if I need to get another car:rolleyes:

Ah good old Sabre, well that seems a bloody good price mate. Is that for the T2 ? Just go for it I doubt you'll get any cheaper. My boy's fiesta was about 960 odd I think :thumb2

£950 if bloody good! I think your expecting too much.

I was paying like £1500 on my vitara after passing when i was about 20 with 1 years driving experience!!!

Don't think about it to long Buddy. Some times these quotes have a very short expiry time...

Going to speak to nfu, see if they can better the deal, If not, l'll jump at it! :D

:eek::eek: Bloody jump at it Ryan, do you want to be driving or not...mind is this a price they are giving while you learn???

Friend of ours sorted insurance for her son. The only way they could get the price sensible was to have a maximum mileage per year policy. He is over mid way through the year and has ran out of miles.

They are now charging him £100 per 100 miles :eek::eek::eek:

Poor lad, the policy didn't work out very sensible in the end.

Bound to be :augie
Like I said a zillion times Ryan will have to double that once he passes :doh Which is also why he should learn for 1 year then start his 2nd year with his test, then new policy with 1 years NCD
