I would't go the new route just yet. It's probably a supply problem, first thing to check is the voltage stabalizer, usually plugged in the back of the instrument panel pcb board. Looks like a mini flasher unit

i had similar problem with my clocks on w reg t2, all thr dials stopped working and the temp and milage wouldn't show up. changed the clocks for a new set, £200 from my local garage  . done 5000 miles since and everything ok :p . anybody that can use a phillips screwdriver can have them changed in less than half an hour. also i rang DVLA and you dont have to do anything when you change the clocks and your new ones show 00000.I just kept a record of milage for service intervals

no, when you put new clocks in they will read 00000, unless you go down the second hand rout :?

yeagh but i bet if nissan or who ever plug into diagnostics plug itll pull milage up !

Indtrument Panel

I sent for a instrument panel for my 2.7 2001

It has just arrived and I not the right one. It has 2 reset buttons on the front and the lcd is more oblong than square. I was told it was off a 2002

If any one wants it we can talk price. I only want what I paid

Have replaced cluster, back to normal now.
A firm in Kent wanted £150 to attempt a repair, new one £200, so got new.
btw, speedo now reads 10 miles so original mileage not stored by ecu, hope this helps.
