Hi guys,
Recently got my 'scrap' terrano through the MOT and only had to actually buy shoes and wheel cylinders. couple of advisories but nothing bad. No corrosion or rust!
Anyway, it does have quite a tap to the engine. I checked valve gaps and they were to spec. Looking at the receipts it came with it had an engine rebuild in 2014 costing 2k!!
So I think it's an injector and the MOT man agrees with me. Are there any quick/cheap fixes? (or indeed time consuming cheap fixes) He said he could do it but wouldn't give me a price... never used a garage except for MOT's and at £70 an hour I don't think I want to start now. OR should I just leave it being a cheap truck?
As you probably guessed I don't want to spend much, I'm less than £500 into this and don't want to spend much more If I can help it.
Any help would be very much appreciated :thumb2
