Help needed please for my absent indicators
After the weekends offroading shananigins they're popping the fuse as soon as I put them on:doh The same happens on the hazzards:doh On the way home I put a 15amp fuse in just incase plod pulled me again. This gets me a minute or two on hazzard before it all slows down and pops the fuse again. While on hazzards though, all the lights actually work :nenau
Anybody got any sensible flow chart type jobs to do to try and find the fault

i had a similar problem, and found out that it was a short circuit in ther indicator/lights stalk switch. Where the wiring had been trapped and was therefore burnt, try smelling the stalk for burning. i relaced the the burnt piece of wire and heat swrink it. Also found that the back of the fuse box had melted, so done a temorary repair by fitting an inline fuse,

i have just this week replaced the fuse box totally, and eveything works fine........oh except the mirror adjust switch, which exploded into bits, and off course cant find the little springs anywhere, and the slide switch snapped internally.

hope you solve your problem with out all this hassle, regards Russell

i had indicator problems llast week working not working etc intermitent it turned out it was the actual holder you put the bulb in on the rear the white and black moulded bit something gone inside which you cant get to so i bypassed it and drilled small hole in the holder made my own connection and hey presto sorted ,i started with each fitment and checked them all for loose connections shoort wires etc tedious i know but theres no avoiding it when you have a prob like that ,i tried ignoring it for weeks until eventually no o/s/r indicator whatsoever but bulbs all fine must be shorting out ,if blowing the fuse though ,also check the fuse box connections ,good luck :thumbs

Cheers guys, I was afraid it would be like that, tedious
Hey ho, I'll start the hunt
