Today at garage makeitfit I have been furiously spannering away at the old mav:sly
Fitted new No1 injector with the aid of Clivvy's special socket:thumbs
While I was there I cleaned out the minging black goo from the intercooler
Decomisioned the throttle butterfly thing and blanked off the spindle hole, mmmmm now all smoooooth for max air flow:sly
Took the EGR off and fixed that, then dumped the vac. pipes
Oil return pipe thing that does all the damage in the first place was removed from the turbo intake and blnked off. Just need to sort an oil catch tank next:augie
As it was on ramp I thought I'd check the brake pads. One side ok the other all gone:augie oops. Caliper turned out to be seized:doh So I need a pair of them now too, but at least it will stop better then
Tomorrow I might have a go at the turbo as I've been waiting a while to fit my T28 :naughty
