Hi GoonerCarp :smile: I had a neon gear knob years ago :lol: they are dead easy to wire up, you just fit the knob onto the gear stick (the old one will just screw off)then feed the wires down inside the gaiter & along the centre cosole to the bottom of the dash, you then can tap into the light for the cig lighter so when you switch on your lights the gear knob will switch on at the same time :wink:

:lol: :lol: :lol: Your getting like me :roll: :lol: If you get stuck or are unsure give me a buzz & i'll try & help you out where I can :wink: One little tip where the wires come out of the gear knob & go into gaiter you will prob see the wire so you could cover them by sliding over a large bit of heat shrink or some black elec tape

thanks, i use heat shrink tube for fishing when doing rigs etc. where do you get black tubing to fit over gear lever shaft?

I would just use some large diameter heat shrink but would'nt heat it or plain old black elecy tape :smile:
