Well the replacement for my r3mR is starting to grow on me at last now that the suspension noise has been fixed (ARB clamps and bushes).

Its MoT time at the end of the month and am pretty confident it will pass without any major cost. Fuel consumption on the 2.7 V6 petrol is almost identical to the old Nissan albeit petrol is a tad cheaper per gallon. On a half decent run it creeps up towards 28 mpg quite easily.

We have done 5,000 miles in her since August as she has been to France twice with no reliability issues.

It still surprises me how quiet the engine etc is though the old Diesel thrum was quite re-assuring.

That's 13 months of MoT

The Santa Fe went for its MoT today passed with advises that both rear springs show corrosion.

Not surprising for an 04 plate vehicle!

Result !!!!
