Hi all

My passenger side front hub has quite a bit of play and someone on said I could adjust the play rather than replace the bearings? How do I do this??

Cheers Jeremy

Take off auto hub take off circlips but might be able to leave them if the locking ring for the bearing adjustment will fit over after undoing the 2 Philip screws then once locking ring is out the way with screw driver slowly rotate bearing adjustment ring till play is taken up do not over tighten. as this will over heat the bearing when driving how I did it was keep rotating wheel (yes u can do this with out taking wheel off just jacked up) while tighting the bearing adjustment if the wheel starts to go tight then that's to tight but u only want to go tight enough to take play away or u could make up a tool so u can use torque wrench to tighten the ring to what manual says think its 25nmbut please check that hope this helps:thumbs
