LOL, that well dodgy!!

as if you put a disclaimer like that in an advert, its basically saying if this item is faulty, tough titty cos we will just say your fan was dodgy!!

£85???? NO.

even if he says no returns he has no choice under ebay rules.

Am I right in thinking that the problem is actually the circuit board on the switch that burns out a track, and just needs bridging with a small piece of wire and a bit of solder.

Nothing to do with a resistor at all........:augie:augie

that type it's just a piece of solder holding a sprung metal tab, when it gets hot enough to melt the solder it then breaks apart.

the ones in the newer trucks is a resistor.

Can't find the part number on the nissan parts diagram. How much are they new OEM ?

Checkout the downloads as there is the instructions for fixing these little things. The bloke has got a point about a faulty motor will blow these items but his T&C's have a lot to be desired and at the end of the day people have a choice to buy or not. May be he's been stung by dishonest ebayers, there appears to be plenty of those types these days. Personally I'd tell him to stick it where day light don't shine.
