How much coolant after a full drain????

I've just sorted my thermostat and water pup again and want to know how much I'll need as the system including header tank is now dry as a bone :thumb2:thumb2

if there is no water in rad and header tank and no water in the engine:augie then it takes 10 litres:thumbs

Make sure your heater control is in the very hot setting too should help stop getting an air lock. If you find it fills after say 8 litres squeeze the top and bottom hoses a few times to de bubble it and if that doesnt work spin the engine over a bit to circulate the wet stuff :thumbs

Having flushed mine 4-5 times via the bottom hose, you will barely get in 7 litres, unless you undo the block drain, which has a habit of breaking off, so I left mine.

I put in 5 litres of concentrated anti freeze, then topped up with freshwater, which then gives you 50% concentration, which is more than adequate for our winters, -30 c I think.
