it starts fine just a problem with the engine when it comes down to idle. when i start it up 1st thing in morning for the 1st 30sec it falls like a brick then it wants to hang abit before it reaches idle so i was thinking it was maybe air i have replaced fuel lines from tank to fuel filter with 1 pipe no joins so its either sucking in air at the tank or at the fuel filter:nenauto be honest there should not be any
to must and its hard to start
maybe, you have an air leak on the one from the back.. or not got the fuel filter done up enough
tighten the filter a bit.
Cheap filters do let the air in.
It could also be the fuel line from the tank, or even the pipe connection on the top of the fuel tank, which can be accessed from the boot area, under the carpet, there is a cover plate.
Some members have replaced the whole fuel line with plastic pipe.
As the members have said, any air is too much air, as the fuel pump has to compress the fuel and air, and it will result in there not being enough fuel getting through.
Like air in the brakes affects performance.:doh
