After cleaning out my fuel tank & removing 15 years of gunk...
Changing the fuel filter...
Cleaning the fuel filter housing...
Cleaning the mini filter / banjo filter...

After doing this i thought i had an air leak due to being a pain to start from cold & not wanting to idle
After hours of checking & many swear words later :doh :augie
It turned out that the throttle cable & choke had moved forwards slightly (due to mud or something i guess :nenau)
So moved it back & back to normal :D :clap

But done the below mod to show me the state of the main filter & if there is air in the system :D

I decided to do this :D

Dont see any draw backs as its only going to save unwanted stuff getting where it shouldnt :naughty

Looks far too squeaky clean for me :lol
There also appears to be a huge great air bubble in there :augie
Good effort, hope it works

There's no bubbles mate :thumbs

See what happens in time :thumbs

wont this case of O.C.D on the filters be a little overkill and slow your fuel supply down.

why didnt you just loose all the pipes from brake master to filter and back . and just run from tank to fuel pump ?
putting an after market primer and filter inline.

if you had asked rick whats involved in moving the fuel tank , you could have shoved that in the boot. and given loads of extra clearance under the back . that was one of my plans for the future. would look the nuts too. just the axel and suspension floating around under there .

To much work as i only wanted to see what the fuel was doing as i couldnt get hold or any clear hose so got the 2 filters instead :thumbs

The tank will be moved but only when it goes off road full time :thumbs

Needed to see if there was a air leak due to rough idling
Turned out to be the throttle housing on top of the fuel pump :doh
Reckon a lump of mud or something hit it :augie

Still, all done now :clap :thumbs
