How do I remove SWB Roof Lining?

What's easiest way to remove roof lining?

I want to put it back afterwards so I don't want to damage it.
I've got a couple of rattles somewhere near the electric sun roof cover, plus, I'm going to fit a set of Roof rails that I just acquired and they bolt through roof.

Easy, remove grab handles, sun visors and interior lights etc. drop off seat belts, then pull door seals away from pillar trims, then pull pillar trims. Couple of plastic plugs to flick out of roof here and there and lining will drop down, then take out thru rear door.

the roof needs to be tilted, look down in the opened bit and you will see a screw at each side, a bit fiddlie to get at the screws but they come loose and cause the rattle.

for sunroof rattles .......

the roof needs to be tilted, look down in the opened bit and you will see a screw at each side, a bit fiddlie to get at the screws but they come loose and cause the rattle.

So whereabouts in D & G are you?
We go to Parton on Loch Ken every Easter weekend for the Scottish National Field Archery Championships.
I been going there for 25 years! Absolutely wonderful countryside around there and love "The Raiders Road" on tother side of Loch Ken.
We are already booked in to Loch Ken Holiday park for our Carriervan next Easter 2013, hope my recently purchased Mav 2.7TDi swb makes it!!!!!!

I tried this quick fix, and was amazed it worked. Id had the roof out 3 times trying to sort it out, when all i needed was a bend screwdriver. Had no problems with it since either. :clap

I've done mine recently and its in a bit of a mess so I need a replacement, I got really impatient getting it out and bent it all up, It was riffy anyway so I knew I was going to replace it at some point
