you might know, but we've got a 2003 Honda jazz that's knackered:doh i'll list the problems

1 gearbox makes a screaming noise will need changing ASAP!
2 leaks behind roof lining and in the boot so the boot and rear foot well are wet
3 no service history
4 floor rotting
5 body starting to go rust in verioue places
6 only locks from passenger door and boot
7 only has tape deck:lol
8 radio doesn't work very well
9 quite high mileage

er....

10 very basic model
11 no alloys
12 no road tax
13 interior is quite worn out
14 battery is shot and will go flat in 3 days 'i keepstarting it and driving it back and forth to keep it working:eek:'
15 it's one of the oldest jazzes

mum and dad want to sell it even for spares repair as they need money for something,

my feeling is no one with a brain is going to even think of buying such a money pit:clap because theirs so much wrong with it, it's not worth fixing also there's nothing good for upgrading another jazz

i thought about breaking it for spares and listing good parts on eBay, like engine, lights ECUs etc, but dad doesn't believe in ebay:rolleyes: and they want the money asap.... anyone got any ideas?

if they want the money asap just list it as spares or repair. someone will buy it.

why does your dad not believe in ebay?

why does your dad not believe in ebay?

dunno tbh, he said he doesn't want stuff second hand, but i keep telling him you can get stuff new, he's very old fashioned in some ways, it's not my problem:lol:lol i buy from ebay all the time:D

Go for it!! show him he's wrong, spares or repair. Will sell easy as they are popular cars. David.

Looks Ok in the picture, have seen worse.
The roof leak is normally behind the plastic trim on the roof, no alloys... so, service history..to old to worry, how high is the mileage..how high.
The gearbox on these can give problems, but can be exchanged, I would stick it on the bay, list the problems and start it at around the £100 mark, after all, it's worth that in scrap value.
Only list the real problems, sit back and see how it goes

as said grow some balls and get it listed
Somebodys crap another persons treasure
Only my opinion

about 97 thousand

97000, that's nothing, ours is a 54 plate and has 118000 and is still as smooth as a babies :augie
You should look at doing the work required and selling it on, very popular car

Call a car scrapper. They pay up to a ton-fifty in cash & they take it away.

You want the engine? And some other bits:augie:D

think we are keeping the car just now, as situations have changed, mum and dad aren't needing the money, so we will probably run it until the gearbox literally locks up:eek: not long distances i must add:clap, then we will scrap it..i'll strip most of the good stuff off it and keep or sell it on
