That's where the trim bolts to on later models

Has it been fitted with a new boot with the platic trim removed?

Looking at the later models the rear screen looks horizontal, ie parallel to the top, but on the earlier models the screen drops down a few inches on the driver's side.

So are you saying that Nissan kept the original pressing for the old door, and cover the gap with trim ?

What a bodge...:doh

As well as the holes, they must also extend the black paint that goes around the perimeter of the screen.

It looks like the later screen has been fitted to an older model.:doh

Yes the door is exactly the same just holes and border added as you say also one bolt in spare wheel bracket is round the other way to stop the wheel being stolen and different wiper motor fitted

So underneath the thick plastic trim theres a flipping hole. How rubbish is that. On the bright side we do know of someone that breaks these trucks

will post pics tomorrow when i go back to my workshop i have never seen it before and i have 4 at the moment but they keep having babies lol cncfabs do you have this trim steve

No sorry I sell the back doors complete they are very sought after

Easy fix, get some Tigerseal and a bit insulting tape. Tape on the inside of the glass then sguigde in some Tigetseal from the outside and smooth over with a wet finger. Leave to dry, then tape off inside and add a bit more if needed. I smashed my rear screen off road and changed the for the new type. Sealed the holes and no leaks in 3 years.
