High level brakelight and puddle light

Hi

Had two issues recently with our 2010 Pathfinder:

1. Some of the LEDs in the high level 3rd brake light failed. Nissan want over £200 for replacement so went looking for alternative.

Found the part on Partsouq for around £105:

Then found refurb offered on ebay for £45:

Sent broken unit off Monday afternoon to Crazyleds and got it back repaired Wednesday morning - great service and works fine.


2. Puddle light in wing mirror lost an argument with a gate post! Got part OK but then needed to dismantle wing mirror to fit it. Found useful information here:

Only thing not covered is that there is a small screw inserted vertically from the bottom of the wing mirror that you can only remove with the mirror in the half folded position - took a while to find this!
