Hi lift jack all or Jackall?

There is a 2nd hand jackall in flea bay or do i hold out for the hi lift?

Any views or experiance with these?

Genuine HiLift or Genuine Jackall are fine - stay away from generic farm jacks though.

1. I was going to rub it down and spray "Hammerite" on it, Any other suggestions?

2. Has anybody mounted theres on the outside of there trucks? I would like to wack it on the back door, but it might get nicked or used to damage the car, or i could padlock it?

dinky had one parallel with roof rails on lwb t2, that looked neat,
with these trucks its where you are going to jack against isnt it
though i believe there are adapters to lift a wheel.

Mine lives strapped to the side of the roof rack with the weight on the roof bars as seen below.

Shovel on the other side and waffle boards up top or 2nd spare wheel depending what I'm doing.
