Evening to everyone

I've just joined after googling for a good 4x4 forum .
I have just bought a 96 ford maverick 2.7td swb with a engine fault , its done just shy of 120,000 and the lady who had it couldnt be bothered to fix it , so i got it for the princely sum of ...... wait for it ..............£100 !!!!

Bargain if i can fix it ( course i can :thumbs) anyway have come to the conclusion its the throttle sensor ( located near the pedal ) malfunction light is on constantly , then becomes solid which causes either revving up or no revs :doh
Have one on order from just nissan so hopefully that will cure the problem any advice on the fitting guys ?

Also any idea on some toys for my beast ? engine swaps ? suspension mods

As feared its throttle body sensor have got one from just nissan £100
anything to watch for when fitting ???
