Were off up the peak district again next sunday for some more escapism:D.
the last thing on my mind will be xmas, bills, work, jobs to do,shopping and all that sheeeite:D.
Looking forward to meeting up with me mates Elton and mel again:thumb2.

And very much looking forward to getting my truck mucky:D

if its half as good as last time im buzzing already:D

spoilt now, too many closed lanes and too much tarmac going down

I was out there 2 weeks ago on my own with the girlfriend, we did loads of lanes that were in the December edition of Land Rover Monthly, it was awesome!!!!! Pissing it down as well, gale force winds :thumb2

Then off to a pub in the middle of nowhere for a drink, some food and a warm round an open fire :clap

Not sure if its a good idea to do green lanes alone ie one vehicle.

I agree with bry.
its not just about tackling the terrain.
Last time we were out I had a breakdown and between us all we had the bits to do the repair and finish the day.
you may think you are carrying all you need but theres always that jubilee clip or tubing you haven't got:eek:

this time we go I am going to try and take some better pics:D

Looking forward to it myself.
Have tried to keep it interesting:thumb2
I am also gonna get a bit more video this time.looking at my bonnet don't do the day justice.
I want to get some vids of the trucks on the technical sections.

To be quite honest in this tiny little country of ours we are rarely more than a few minutes away from help if we need it.
I just got back from Oz, there's some places there that it isn't a good idea to venture to on your own but people still do. Plenty of places where you can be many hours away from help no matter how desperate you are.
I'm not suggesting anyone should take unnecessary risks by any means. :)

Have a good one mate, I have not been out for ages, well since I started my build project, all work and no play is doing me in, so decided even though I cannot afford the time, that I will be at Slindon next Sunday, so will be thinking of you, Rick

Yes they have leveled quite a few and closed a lot.
I go out on the quad bike and do a lot of exploring so I try and drive some of the lesser known lanes.there are still some good ones left but for how long I don't know.
Just gotta enjoy it while we can:thumbs
