Doing a service on new to me Maverick. Owners Handbook states -

Rear Axle (4x4) -

Ford Automatic transmission fluid according to Ford Spec ESW-M2C 119-A

Front axle (4x4) -

Ford Automatic transmission fluid according to Ford Spec SQM-2C 9002-A

Any help would be appreciated as to what any of you would use because -

Tried Motor Factors and local suppliers including Ford garage and they say get it from Motor factors.

Motor Factors are saying they cannot cross reference with what they are selling.

So not sure what to get now as cannot even find what is written in book.

Erm, are you sure??

AFAIK all the Mav / Terrano years and variants require:

85w-90 Limited Slip gear oil in the back axle. I personnally use a "LS90" which is pretty commonly available to me.

75w-90 regular gear oil in the front axle, although you could once again use the LS type in it quite happily.

75w-90 in the main gearbox

ATF Dexron or type G in the transfer box.
