plenty of threads on this .... type tyre sizes into the search button at the top of the page :thumb2

Upto 30's with no mods

31's require a front wheel arch trim

32's & above require major front arch cutting

35's & above require rear arch cutting

think 235/85x16 are about 32"
so what would u go for genral graber 235 70 r16 or kl71 235 85 r16 am i right in thinking kl71 will just need a slight trim as i dont under stand the tyres in inches i.e 31" or 33":nenau is that the over all dia of the tyre or just the width

did you say got a tin tent on another thread

stick with standard size in grabber at2.

wont be dissapointed, mine being new were
bit taller due to tread than old.

they are rated at 50/50 on/off road, best at
this side of a mud.

combined with the lsd seriously doubt you'll
ever need more for laning, after all if lane
that muddy perhaps question if can travel
it without damaging it, tread lightly and all
that.

fit and forget, oh and enjoy seem to think
that even the long way down patrols had
these tyres as all rounders.

with metric, the 235 bit is the tyre width in millimetres, the 70 is the height of the sidewall expressed as a percentage of the width, and the 16 is the rim (wheel) size in, ummm, inches. :doh:nenau ...metric? Hmmmm....

in imperial, the 31" is the outside diameter of the tyre.....

...then take away the number you first thought of :doh:doh

I know mine ain't a Terrano but I have just had General Grabber ATs fitted, they look great, No difference with road noise [compared to factory fit] they hold the road okay...I am pleased with mine.
I used to have Maxxis on my Terrano, I now know that I should have had General Grabber AT. :thumb2

I had a set for all off 2 months  then got the KL71's :naughty

1 of my dads friends has always had discovery's with BFG A/T's & not long after i got mine his were due for renewal...
The local garage to him had none in stock but did have some Grabber's...
He called me dad to ask what I thought & bought them .
18 months later & there not even 1/2 worn & he does about 20000 miles a year & mild off roading as his a vet...

He said his BFG's used to last about 3 years  :bow
(we all know there renowned for long life)

But he reckons for almost 1/2 the price the Grabbers will last as long if not longer which his over the moon with & he said he'll never buy BFG again & has recommended them to farmers :thumbs
