I have read a lot about the MAF sensor on your model, my 2.7TD doesn't have one.
It may only want a clean, there are plenty of downloads in it, but don't touch the element, you need to use electrical cleaner, or carb cleaner on it.
Check downloads first.

Other members with the same model may throw more light on it.
best regards,
Rustic

Sounds like you have an OBD 16 pin socket which you will need diagnostic equipment to read.

hi guys thanks for all the quick replys nice to know about the obdII port:thumb2 but changed fuel filter again and now no problem the crap is still coming out of my tank as running 100% bio now:doh but now sorted when i do get snow i can go and play now:naughty

Does the engine stall as well? and is it temp related, does it happen when engines getting warm?

Mine turned out to be CKP Sensor, same as Clivvy's was at the same time. £200 quid for a new one but now runs sweet again.

hi mate none of thoses it turned out to be just the fuel filter:doh

as the temperature drops , the viscosity of fluids changes ..... this may be a factor :nenau

Then expect to change your filters on a much more regular basis, and keep a filter in the motor for when you get stuck, Rick
filter should last longer than 2 months what happens when you first start using bio it strips the crap out of the tank which has build up from years of diesel in the tank this is y u should start using 30% then next tank 50% then 70% so on till you get to 100% and change the filter in the first 600 odd miles which i did but think i changed it to soon:doh nevermind i do keep two fuel filters now in the truck all the time and fitter a bulb primmer pump as the orginal primmer pump is shit to pump.

So my point is this, does the saving on the biofuel offset the extra expence of the filters, and servicing??????????????Rick

bio

Hi Rick

I make u right to come to the same conclusion

I have tried SVO kerosene and mixture of all.

the best i can find is good ol fashioned diesel out of the pump

yes as once the crap has been shiffed you really only need to change the filter every 6000-8000 miles i just changed it to early thats all:doh
