thanks rbrt, it might be ok then i need a min of 16.6 amps, might rewire it just in case, it's for 12v 200w fan heater just to keep screen clear after moving off. :thumb2

sounds interesting. thinking of adding more sockets on own feed ideally independent
of ignition but maybe with local isolator switch, to top of dash for accessories to
reduce wires running down front of dash. not especially as hd as a heater but maybe
handy incase of future proofing.

tell us more about this fan heater.

thats what im doing in my camper, sockets for r/angle/ sat nav /heater/ phone charger etc.this is similar to the one i bought-- 170294245125
