Good morning or evening, depending on when you read this i supposes.
I have just bought myself a Maverick 4x4 :thumb2 for use in bad weather and for going rough shooting at the weekends. My choice was based on my dad also having a Terrano 4x4 that was an ex police truck and after driving that last year and dragging 44 tons truck out of our delivery yard and up the hill on the main road; i just guessed you don’t get any better than this.
For my SINS i drive a BMW 520 during the week and it looks better in the company car park, i don’t think the MD would like a 4x4 covered in mud next to his Jag :(.
I’m not going to be doing the stuff you guys do by Modding it up, it’s going to be a work horse and will get a lot of bumps and scrapes along the way.
Its got a couple of problems, that i will post and seek advice about in the right fourms, dont want to get told off to soon by asking in here, lol :augie.
Anyway, just though i would say hello and look forward to chatting to you all soon.
Phil.

hi, welcome.

you'll not get told off here...

ask what ever you like...

you can alway TOW the MD's Jag when he gets stuck in the snow!

Welcome, I too am new and find these forums VERY helpful and give very quick responses to questions :)

You should settle in well even though you drive a beemer, and you know what Clarkson says about that ;)

ROFL!

welcome aboard phil. feel free to ask for help with any problems you might have. or just have a chit chat.

plenty goes on here that not just 4x4 related

Thank you for the welcome

Well i bit the bullit and paid to join, and WOW what a load of info flooded out of my PC. I did not know so much was restricted, even saying that the free part of the fourm is great, but this part is FANTASTIC! I have post one of my problems in the running gear part of the fourm, as i have no front wheel drive, so if you have any ideas that i have not already read about nip in have a read and post me the results:thumbs.

Kind regards
Phil..
