Just bought a 92 nissan terrano in slovakia, Im doing up a couple of cottages over here and needed 4x4 to tow my trailer and deal with 18 inch of snow after my trooper blew up on the way here.Nice car been really well looked after, tows my ex-army sankey trailer well, and Ive had some fun in the snow. Problem is I cant find the vin stamped in the chassis which i need to reg the car in my name, found the plate in engine bay, police want to see corresponding number stamped on chassis. Any ideas?

you need the manuals, section GI-29

It is stamped on the chassis, the numbers are approx 20mm high, in the centre of the chassis, below the front door Right hand side. Facing you.
A torch shon from the side may help you find it.
PS to remove waxoyl, use white spirit (Turps) not paint stripper.
Best regards, Rustic
