I seem to remember you could fix the resistor with a 10p, anyone got the link, or am I a mental ?

FOR 10p, not WITH 10p...:lol:lol:lol

Not seen any post like that, the only real safe fixes are replace part, solder over brake in track, but that will affect the resistance, meaning that the speeds are now faster than they used to be, or get some nice 50w resisters of the correct value, and link them in, but to be honest, the cost of "Manly" resisters, coupled with trying to find a suitable place to mount them, it would be easier and cheaper to pop to the scrappy and pick up a replacement unit, it would appear that a lot of Nissan use the same, or very similar ones.

Nope, it was definitely using a 10p piece. Must have dreamed it.

Might have been a very old post when phone calls were cheaper.:augie 10p that was a longtime ago...

it's bugging me now, can't think what it was but I know I've seen a post where someone glued a 10p in place. I am definitely going bonkers.
