How do I know what type of heater plugs to buy for the truck, if it's not to costly might fit a set cos it's a pig to start and if I've got to keep it for a bit might be worth sorting. I know they have to be metal tipped but what brand is better too. An ebay link might be useful.

It's an 05 plate 2.7

Cheers

If you want a trick to aid starting before you replace, turn ign on, wait for light to go out, then wait another 20 secs until you hear a click which is relay. Repeat process 2 or 3 times, this will warm the plugs up more :thumb2

Sadly I've tried that but that doesn't help on mine. Good call though

Quick reminder, Td glow plugs are different to Tdi glow plugs.
Also Td's are cheaper... I use NGK for my Td
Life can be around 5 years, but really depends on how many really cold starts you have lol...

You can never be sure what type that Milner have on the shelf.

Tip:- Use a "T" bar to remove them, after a spray of WD40 night before, as any side force will shear them.

Do not over tighten them, treat as a spark plug.

Are the ones from Milners any good?

They look like metal rod ones in the picture however I have gone on the picture before and been sent an item that looks nothing like the one pictured.

Ring up, ask for Julia, say you're from Nissan4x4Owners and they'll look after you :thumb2

Called in at Andrew Pages this morning to get some bits.

Can only get ceramic heater plugs, no ta

Don't have hose clips to fit my leak off pipe but they do a kit. Sorry we don't have the kit in stock.

Got a new set of blades, fronts loads better but rear no change. It still misses.
