Heater playing up

Hi guys been out mucking about with the mav today and have discovered the heater works sometimes then switch it off then it won't work at all even on speed 4

I turn the ignition off then on and it seems to work ?

Strange one

Any ideas ?

you need a new ignition switch, common problem, just the electrics bit, about £30 from Nissan not worth bothering with second hand, bit fiddly to fit but doable, Rick
