Heater Blower/Fan Motor

Are these serviceable or not as I think the bearings have dried in mine as when it's on setting 3 or 4 it squeals really loud :doh

It also does it cold when on setting 1 which I remembered to record today as I ha my phone in my hand, I presume it's just a bearing on a spindle of some sort?

If you've got it to hand, can you see how accessible the internals are to see if I can grease the bearings etc?

almost impossible as to strip the motor you have to remove the plastic fan which will break up on trying to remove it, Rick

what about having fan on and spraying wd40 in as its turning,put cloths over vents to catch spray,might work.

WD40 isn't really a lubricant though, we still use it as one. It's a water dispersant.
It's the bearings that need the lube and blowing in the intake will probably get filter by pollen filter and then just stick to heater matrix and fan blades.

I'll rip mine out and have a look and if I can't do anything with it I'll get another one
