I know I'm being a tart, but the drivers heated seat don't heat up, the passenger side works fine, but not the drivers, the switch lights up but no heat.

Any ideas as to what may be wrong, I was going to try changing the switch with the other one, but they are different:nenau
I do like a warm bum in the winter:augie

Are they fused individually? I'd check there first and then start check voltage across the wires with switch on and off with a multimeter :)

The switch does light up, so power is getting to that, how do I check the switch to see if the power is leaving it

Try testing the positive cable for voltage that runs underneath the seat, just make a small puncture in the cable and then find an earth on the car somewhere, try with the switch off first which obviously give a 0v reading, then still connected to the cables turn the switch on and it should read 12v, if it doesn't then you need to follow the cable back for damage, it should go back to the central fusebox.
