I was thinking:eek:
For practicality as well as cosmetic reasons.would it be illegal to cover my headlights with a steel mesh protector.
I was thinking of using summat like what Elton used for his front grill and spraying them black?

Well, they use mesh on old Mini headlights to protect them from stones.
I would have thought, as long as the mesh doesn't interfere with the light pattern, it should be OK.
I have plastic guards fitted to my front lights, these are a perfect fit and clip over the whole light and I have a spare set in the garage :naughty

Actually I saw these headlight guards, and I have to say, they look ace, didnt even know they were on there! and they just pop on n off :thumb2

You should be ok as long as the holes in the mesh aren't to small & I think you can still buy the mesh type guards for the older LR's so if it's ok for them then it should be ok for the Nissan boys:augie TBH I think they have laxed the laws a little as the fly eye tinting film is now fully legal to use on head lights & it's vinyl with millions of hole in it
