Anyone know if the headlight bulb on the round headlight Maverick is the H4 one?
Ta Paul.

Hi Paul. They are H4 on the round headlights on T2 Terrano and everything else seems about the same so it's a pretty safe bet yours will be H4. Hope this helps

Good heavens--- my posting came out in triplicate and I'm not even a civil servant--sorry about that. Perhaps the staff can sort it out

Hi Paul as said they are H4's  but if your going to replace them then I would fit a set of up rated ones as I found they are a bit brighter

Hi, I wouldn't have thought that these 100W headlight bulbs are legal for road use. Also increasing the wattage from 55W to 100 W will nearly double the current. Is the loom man enough for the extra current?
Also the heat output will be higher. At the least this may damage the connector, there have been a few threads on members having to change these connectors.
Do the bulbs have the "E" mark, if they do then they are probably 55Watt.
A certain way is to measure the current in amps, multiply this by 12 or 13 and this will give you the approximate watts.
There are a range of H4 bulbs that have a higher light output without exceeding 55W and are "E" approved. These can be up to 30% brighter.
I fitted some 100W bulbs in my spot lamps, that come on with full beam, for off road use only of course.
Hope this helps. Rustic

Stick to your standard bulbs and go to spotlights using a separate relay to power them
