head torque settings

hi new to forum, looking to replace head on my rd28td but cannot find manual with specs. does anyone know torque specs for this engine? any and all info needed.

A long time ago on a old car I was trying to find out torque settings with no help so set the torque wrench low & turned it up 1 click at a time until they loosened

No doubt someone will be on with details, id say you'd have your answer already if it were a terrano :lol

I'm surprised there's been no answer yet but if I were you I'd go with the torque rating of the TD27, it can't be too far out can it.

If it's too tight just loosen them off

I've just checked the workshop manual and the cylinder head bolt torque is 40 - 49 nm for the TD27
