Group Buy - LOKKA (2 Pinion Diff 2000> Upwards Only)

I've been dealing with LOKKA direct and after helping them out with some research on the later 2 pinion diffs, they now have my Terrano's original diff on display in their workshop as they have used it to develop a LOKKA for all of the newer boys trucks that previously couldn't get LOKKA's :naughty

LOKKA have never sold these before but have had a fair bit of interest in them and have thus used my diff to design a new LOKKA application for all 2 pinion diffs 2000> onwards

So who wants one? :augie I'm getting numbers together for a bulk order.

If we can get at least 5 wanting one, you'll get your LOKKA for £170 delivered to your front door :naughty

I went and did a group buy with LOKA a few years back. Watch out for import duties and vat on arrival
OR have you negotiated these to be individual (part of group discount ) orders ?
Will they let you order an old skool one in the mix too ? If so I'll have one

Individual orders buddy :thumb2, on the proviso that we can get at least 5 orders, that way we avoid the import duties and VAT etc I hope.

Rob's Y61 LOKKA is sat at Stanstead airport somewhere at the moment :doh :lol

They don't have any old school 4 Pinion ones at the moment, I asked last time

I think they said 4 pinion is more intricate inside slightly but I can ask the question buddy :thumb2

Yeah I did wonder whether it would be like flogging a dead donkey to try and get an order like this around Christmas but on the other hand, I thought maybe some of you would have suggested it as a "stocking filler" :lol for Xmas?

Doesn't work like that for importing, If anything the bigger the package more likely it will be charged import + vat.

Unless the shipper pays it their end which can be done with couriers like Fedex etc. I would clarify with them whats going on so you can let buyers on here price may rise a little.

I'm wondering if this is why Robs patrol LOKKA is sat at Stanstead then I wonder if there will be any import duty and stuff on that?

The parcel is only 2.5kg, can you remember what kind of duty you paid Makeitfit?

Duty will be charged at 20% I seem to remember, and that's also charged on the carriage, as it's a total landed value that gets taxed I put the vat through my books and so claimed that back
I haggled like mad with FEDEX as it was them who delivered mine and eventually got a deal but only after much hassle. I got the cost of carriage removed and paid duty on the goods only. I only got away with that as they'd already delivered and tried to collect duties retrospectively.

Hiya, I presume they are for front, which one does mine need, year 2000 2.7tdi, Lwb, I know it has big h223 rear diff not sure bout front tho!

General rule is H223 rear = front 4 pinion
Cheap Dacia S**** rear = front 2 pinion

You'd need an older one as well then, so that's 2 old ones needed and 1 new :doh

If you want stuff doing, do it yourself and go direct!!!! Too many middle men makes things take too long

Would I need to fit manual free wheel hubs.

I didn't fit mine, it was pre-fitted and I juist swapped the diffs :thumb2

It's possible, But could be a number of other reasons.
