These came today all ten of them, been looking for them for a long time, these are just how I remember them, now got to source a bit of heavy tube about 4 inch in diameter weld a loop on each end and drill ten holes, hope to test it Sunday at new P & P site near Slindon, supposed to be opening for first time, called Slindon Valley, Rick

If they can get a challenger tank out of the s**t I'm sure they will get you free.
Only thing they don't supply is the muscle to knock them in and pull them back out again.

Knocking em in will be easy, I usually have muscle available, and getting em out will be a winch job once I get close to em:clap, Rick

Just noticed they have this stamp on em, genuine army, Rick

Maggie says glad you like em, bally thing would not stay still while I took pic, Rick

The guy I got them from has loads, Swedish steel, good one, Rick

My father-in-law has one of these sets.
It’s old, but the rods look the same.
He has a piece of 3”x3” angle iron about 3ft long with a ring on one end.
It has holes along it alternately on each side with the iron laying on the ground with the rods driven in on the angle each side if this makes sense, with the ring on the end ready to take the Winch hook.
He’s a farmer.
D

The flaw with using angle is that the only the top of the rod is being pulled making it liable to achieve an angle and then be pulled out easier, with a good sized bit of tube with two holes per rod the rods will tend to be held straight, Rick

Would be really interesting to see it set up for use......:thumb2

Just got it today, freeby as it was lounging in the skip, still in the motor so take pic tomorrow but it is around 100 mm box about 6 mm thick 1.2 Mt long, quite heavy, just got to find something to make the loop out of and drill some holes, Rick

A company called flatdog make the type of anchor you are building Rick.
