Grinding

Got a grinding noise when on full lock either way. Do I assume that the steering bump stops require grease? Had to do that on my HiLux Surf.

Yes pretty likely, smear em quick and do the same test. They have plastic caps that disappear with jet wash ect :thumb2

The lock stops often grind away when lacking grease on them & it works out they need doing about twice a year:thumbs

or just do what i do and turn the radio up when on full lock :lol:lol:lol:lol:lol:lol:lol

I brought some M12 plastic caps from eBay and just pop those on, no grease required :sly

I do put a blob on if I have some to hand through as it does stop the caps from wearing, I've gone through 2 sets in 18 months and have 6 sets left all for the price of £2 :thumb2
