Following an update my Google Chrome Browser is not remembering any log on details. I have tried all the usual fixes so have gone back to Firefox again.

Anyone here had the same issues ?

Not had any reports of this at work, just watch tomorrow morning phone will be off the hook.
I’d have a look through settings for you but hardly switch my laptop on these days, for home use my ipad rules the roost for most things.

Hi Jim,
Tried settings etc might delete Explorer & Chrome then do a re-install. For now happy to use Firefox. I am on Win 7 with my laptop so I guess that might have had an update too.
cheers ted

You might want to check out Lastpass, its an addon for most browsers, remembers all login details & can form fill, far superior & safer than using browsers built in feature. I have had more trouble with Firefox than Chrome personally but then I run 3 browsers all the time, so I'm covered.

Will give Lastpass a try!

I have downloaded Lastpass onto both y browsers so will give it a go. I have just used the free version is the one that costs money worth having?

I only use the free version, have been for years. The paid version is monthly I believe, it will sync across multiple devices like mobiles something I don't require. Lastpass does work very well & you only have to remember 1 very good password. I use it on Chrome (Comodo Dragon) Firefox & recently been trying out Vivaldi. :thumbs
