Well, been looking on ebay for a rig for the truck now for a few weeks, and decided on cheap, small and 80channel.

didn't want a good ol' school rig due to size and 40 channels on most.

was between intek m60 or cobra 19 DX IV EU. went with the cobra.

nice little rig, fits nicely in the middle of the cubby hole in front of gear shift. bit of bodging with drill bits to make holes in bottom. may even cut the bottom of cubby hole of and slide rig in further. Have a spare cubby i got from scrappy earlier to practice with, but seems ok anyway. so keeping original for spare.

anyway the seller is a cutie in AMESBURY, ebay seller tech-megastore

if you collect they will do a better deal as no ebay costs. really nice, helpful and did me the rig twig mount and ext speaker for £75 happy

I have my VHF/UHF radio in the cubby hole. I have just bought this CB - http://www.thunderpole.co.uk/mobile-cbs/polmar-venus.html You can hide the black box and just have the mic on show. Is nice listening to the EU/AM band and the Yanks again. I last heard them in the 70's pre legal CB's :augie

Im still deciding whether to kepp my 05 plate or not. If I keep it then I'm just going to bite the bullet and drill n screw the remote mounting brackets for the head units. Cup holder and may be ash tray front too.
