You're right to be looking for a good make. I've seen cheap ones drop a tip and wreck the engine. I'd recommend Beru or NGK. I dunno how much they cost where you are, but I'd expect at least £5-£6 each.
Might not be as cheap as you want but it will be peace of mind.
Hi Deano, thanks for the prompt reply, they're expensive over here in France, around 30 euros each!Seen them on e-bay starting at about 13 quid.If you have a name and address/phone for your supplier I would be grateful at that price a real bargain, cheers.
Sorry bout the late reply. I get my stuff from a trade supplier and they won't post. Being ex motor trade I get various amounts of discount and I wasn't thinking about that when I replied, apologies.
Anyway, your 2.8 has two different types of plugs I believe. 3 in the first 3 cyls and 3 diff in the 2 set of cyls.
They do seem expensive compared to my 4.2 ones but you could go for Denso ones which are a bit cheaper though still good. Even Blueprint ones might be ok, because most blueprint stuff is decent quality from Japan.
I must admit that I'm surprised they are so expensive for an older vehicle.
Had a look on Milners site prices at 7 and 7.20 each and with club discount that might save a bit on postage here to France, everything motoring is more expensive here hence looking on UK sites.:thumb2
