hi guys,
Has anyone got the workshop manual for the Y60 available? the links do not work on the download section for me.
regards
Dave

I know!!!!!!! I wish the links were working I need the one for the Y61 :doh

Someone was supposed to be sorting this out but I think it's been forgotten about :(

Yes I have it someplace, the Y60 is not normal set up, plugs 4 5 and six are dual voltage with a separate buss bar so after the first few mins the voltage is halved, all controlled by a box in drivers foot well, (UK model) Rick

Good to know :thumbs

Hi fella's
Turned out wiring from the relay was buggered somewhere along its route so i re-wired the appropriate relay to the plug before the buz bar and its all sorted.
Funny thing is the reason for this was i thought the glow plug timer was on its last legs as it was set to 15 sec glow and 5 sec afterglow be the previous owner. I'd been starting the engine with no glow plugs at all :doh:doh and after a few cranks of the starter it started on compression only. I assume the originally owner had been doing this also, which cant of been a good thing:eek:

I then went on to weld a little rust patch in the passenger footwell, and managed to land a few sparks on what appears to be the original 24v to 12v converter!! Total rookie mistake by me, So its off to the shop for a new converter.

Wish me luck - this electrical stuff is not my forte!!

cheers.
Dave
