Theyre pretty forthright asking for dosh.

Are things really that bad?

Costs a lot of money to take National Parks to the high court to try to over throw lane closures which is what is happening at the moment.

Quite a few of us on here are members in our own right but there is also a sub group of here that is affiliated to GLASS.

found this through various serches for somewhere to go to play (green lane) just wondered if any one knew anything about them is it worth it?

GLASS are arguably the biggest 4x4 green laning organisation in the UK. If you'd like a taster of the info that membership gets you acces to have a look at trailwise - http://www.trailwise.org.uk/index.php

You won't get full access asa none member but will get some idea.

Go to - "Browse Maps" - this should open another window/tab
Then zoom into an area you want to look at
Click on "Search for track in view"
Click on the Searcg button or move the centre of the search if you require.

Thi should bring up lanes within that area - if you then click on them you can see some info in the right hand pane about that lane and then click on the UID (ie SE4567-01) to see a bit more.

Full users get to see comments and previous users etc of the lane but you can see the reported legality etc as a non user.

i always check with glass web site before i go out laning just to make sure where i'm going is still o.k as things can sometimes change overnight.

Well as a fully paid up member on here and Glass use it to find lanes when we take van out,in my view worth every penny.
