Get yourself some led interior lights people

Took a punt and bought a 27 led I think it was interior bulb for the back of the terrano. I couldn't see a bloody thing in the back with the old one. And what a difference it has made. Gonna get one for the Middle light now I know I'm happy with it. Strongly recommend getting these if you want more light in the motor for strapping kids in etc. see the difference in light between the two bulbs.

Middle & front map lights already converted to LED's as are the side lights just waiting for the boot one to come:augie BTW the centre light bulb is longer than the back one you'll need a 42mm feaston bulb:thumbs

Dam. I should have checked that first. Just ordered another same size. How about a little bending of the contacts. Lol.

Yep,I did my whole lot, and sidelight bulbs too

I got some fangle dangle lights for the big center one too, made a huge difference!! :thumb2

I have always thought that a set of foot well lights would be nice in these trucks, or the map lights to light up when the rest of the interior lights come on.

Those shouldn't be difficult mods to do. I think it was Judd750 posted about some LED light units that he used for reverse lights. They were like a panel light so would be ideal to fit above footwells. I guess its simply a case of running positive supply and then tagging into the switched negative from the exisiting lights. Only difficulty might be the map lights as you would probably need a diode to stop all the lights turning on when you switch the map lights on.

Been looking at SMD LED lights for the reverse light but you can also now get cree LED lights aswell which are even brighter & fitted into the light bars people are getting:thumbs
