Small plastic cup at the base. Is it right at the bottom where the ball of the gear stick sits in? I've got mine off now and its feels like metal and I'm struggling to get it out  CD Manual calls it bushing

I'm away on my travels tomorrow afternoon and don't want to order the wrong part before I go as I'm sure nissan won't have it in stock.

Fast info please

Update fished out the plastic cup

Its not split but the hole (cup) must be worn and it came off the ball at the bottom of the gearstick I've put it back on and all is well  Will probably come off again when I next drive the car.

Will order new one if nissan know what I'm talking aboot 8)

Will take some pics when I fit new one

Cheers for the info
