Hi rick 3rd and 5th has bad whine it started with just
5th but now happing in 3rd . I have no idea about cost to fix my box but
I’ve got price for re con box it’s £600+vat and my box
In exchange . I am sure I would be better off getting mine
fixed ! Just need to find good gearbox people !

Shame is I had a motor with a box in it until about 4 weeks ago, although it did rattle on idle, but then by last motor was like that for the 4 years I ran it and never gave a problem, there is a consortium of breakers that you could try, but cannot find the nam at the mo, but got a good auto box for Briggie once at a good price delivered, Rick
