gearbox oil how much

ive just dropped the oil i put in last week. weird looks like a frothy coffee. dunno if its frothed up cos too thick or cos wont mix with molyslip.ive now put 3.6 ltrs of the correct oil in but not upto filler plug.ive checked my 02 book and it gives no capacity but the 96 says 3.5 ltrs.should i fill till it comes out thefiller hole car is level.

filled it to level of filler plug.took for a test drive, oh it slips in a treat all 5 gears that is.amazing what difference having the right oil makes.i think i still have some air in the clutch damper pipe. soon as i get chance its blanked off or removed.

I posted this a while back, press down the clutch pedal with a prop ( length of wood from seat), and open the bleed valve on the master, lift clutch pedal slowly, repeat... then do slave cylinder.

just could be, I have managed to get on again, but cannot get on yahoo or my Q & A Forum but got on here and it still says no signal and the graph thingy that plots your usage is showing peeks at less than the first numbers = nothing but here I am, just passing time as the other half is dancing the night away to some rubbish singer that hurts my ears, but will be back to full strength tomorrow evening, Rick ,,,,,,you watch I have typed all this and it will now do the dirty on me and scrap the lot???:nenau:doh
