ive been on several different oil manufacturers sites to check specs. and on me terrano service cd.some say only cg4 others say only cg5. which one please b4 i tip the wrong s**t in.
i got hypoy ls90 for rear diff and 80 for front.

cheers thats the disc i have that says never use cg 4.but opie says use cg4.
thats what worries me. castrol site recommends cg4.

bugger should have gone to specsavers. castrol says dont use cg4.
 
I think you have to go with the manual.....having looked a bit it seems GL-5 has a lot more active additives that aren't necessarily compatible with what Nissan designed.

but the bottom of nissan says never use cg4 but listing recommends it.

It does indeed, but the transmission oil is GL-4 not CG.....RTFM I think is the phrase LOL

Now confirmed must not use gl5 in terrano as it eats the brass bits.
dont use cg4 engine oil.
